ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This vintage yellow gold bracelet is graced with a row of dark blue, polished, marquise-shaped lapis lazuli gemstones that are prong-set along the top in a straight row. The simple beauty of this bracelet reflects the casual confidence of the wearer. It is approximately 6mm with a staggered-brick style etched pattern on the top. The bottom half of the bracelet tapers to approximately 4mm wide with a smooth, polished surface. The bracelet has a box style clasp with a pressure release button and a safety clip.
- Lapis lazuli, also known simply as "lapis, " has a rich, solid blue color and perhaps a few reflective pieces of gold pyrite. Unlike other gemstones, lapis lazuli is not a mineral, it is a rock in the sodalite family, composed of multiple minerals. The blue color is derived from the presence of lazurite. To be called "lapis lazuli, " it must be blue color and contain 25% blue lazurite.
